In the closing service of our “Israel And The Church In The End Times” conference, Wes Hall, one the senior leaders at IHOP-KC gave a powerful message about the Nation of Israel, and specifically the Land that God promised to Abraham and his descendents forever. Most of us clearly understand that this land is the most disputed piece of geography in world history. But what many of us don’t understand is that it will continue to be this way until Jesus returns, increasing in it’s intensity, reaching heights
The devil has throughout history tried to destroy this land using various means, but his final plan will come to fruition during the Great Tribulation through the Antichirst, as he set’s up his global headquarters within the city of Jerusalem.
This issue is important to us because God has and will continue to command that the Gentile Church stand alongside both the Jewish people, the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel, both now and in the coming days of their greatest struggle. And in Wes’ message, he does a wonderful job breaking down tough issues with tenderness that many typically avoid. Here are some of his quotes;
“The subject of Israel isn’t about Israel. It’s about the glory of God in His commitment to keep His covenant.”
“God is not trying to separate the spiritual from the physical. He’s working according to Ephesians 1:9-10 to bring together the spiritual and the physical in Himself.”
“The promises that God made to Israel are more about God’s faithfulness than they are about Israel, though Israel is surly included.”
“Everything that God is doing in the earth today, including in the body of Christ is about the provocation of the Jews, that they all might be saved.”
